UntitledI am currently an NIH Pathway to Independence (K99) postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Mikhail Shapiro at California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and I work on engineering proteins and cells for molecular imaging and therapies.

Before the position, I completed my PhD research on structural biology of membrane proteins and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy with Dr. Stanley Opella at University of California San Diego (UCSD).

I am passionate in integrating my skills of protein biochemistry, synthetic biology and magnetic resonance to develop novel imaging and control methods that could benefit both basic research and therapeutic developments.
